1.What ages of children do you teach?
We take children five and older and we evaluate three and four year olds before deciding if they are ready to begin.
2.Is it just for children?
No we have many adults as well as children, and families are always welcome.
3.What is Aerobic Kickboxing?
Aerobic Kickboxing is a class that is focused on improving your overall fitness. You can start any time and at any skill level. This class is targeted toward women; however men are not discouraged from participating.
4.What are the women’s self defense sessions?
They are dedicated to women who want to be able to defend themselves. Women will learn an easy system to defend against multiple types of attacks that may occur.
5.What is “Open Floor”?
Open Floor is an extended office hour that we use to clean the school. At this time the rings are open to students for individual, non instructed practice.
6.Are there mandatory training days?
No. We believe in a flexible training atmosphere. After you sign up, you come when you want.
7.Do we sign a contract?
No. Currently we have monthly tuition. Although if you prefer to pay for multiple months, please speak with the instructor.
8.Is there a fixed start-up date?
No. We start each student with an introductory program which will ease you into the full monthly program. Each student starts at their own time and continues at their own pace. No two students are alike.
9.Can parents stay for class? Do parents have to leave for class?
Although some children learn better either with or without their parents, Spire Karate School leaves the final decision up to the parent. However, young children should be accompanied due to overall building rules Spire Karate School must adhere to.
